Calling all Stores Supervisors! Exciting opportunity for a Stores Supervisor to join a growing telecoms business

We are recruiting an experienced Stores Supervisor to join our fast-growing team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Stores Supervisor is an integral role in our mission to provide quality services across the telecoms industry.  You will be driven by delivering exceptional quality and have the right skills and attitude to succeed in a fast growing company.

The Stores Supervisor will be a standalone role, with responsibility for receiving and issuing stock, maintaining records and keeping the storage area clean and tidy. Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, and working closely with Operations, you will be responsible for stock management, and ensuring that the operational day to day logistics run smoothly.

The right candidate will  have have the opportunity to make it their own, putting in processes for stock control, and building great relationships with the Operational teams. Duties will include a stock take and organising the stores area, maintaining accurate records of goods in and out and for picking materials according to client job packs, to issue to our engineers before they go on site.

It is essential to hold a valid driving license, you will from time to time need to move company vehicles on site, and assist the fleet administrator with taking / collecting vehicles for repairs.

A current FLT license is a requirement of the role to move pallets and deliveries.

Our Stores are located on the same site as our Head office, you will work between the stores area and office to;

· Issue stock items to engineers, ensuring accurate recording of what is issued

· Issue and receive stock, accurately recording stock levels and ordering as necessary

· Ensure all engineers are equipped with all the key components required to fulfil their role, including P.P.E/Tools and all associated spares

· Maintain accurate stock records

· General forklift and yard duties, keeping yard tidy at all times.

· Conduct stock audits, as required

· To work in a professional manner acting as an ambassador of HGC at all times

· Always follow all Health and Safety guidelines

· Ensure quality of personal workmanship

· Care of company equipment and property
